Project abstract

The research project ENUR (Energie im urbanen Raum - energy in urban space) deals with energy demand and requirements, consumer's behaviour, energy concepts and projects, scenarios and planning instruments in the context of spatial planning. Focus of this research is the spatial development of Austrian cities and towns in the context of energy supply and planning.

ENUR is financed by Vienna University of Technology (2011-2013), focal point of support "Energy Active Settlements and Infrastructures" and "Competition between Cities and Governance"; faculty for architecture and planning. Further, it cooperates with the university's research centre "Energy and Environment".
